Vesta powder is traditionally used to banish evil and negative spirits and to remove negative energy from a house, car or other location. It can be carried on your person for good luck as well. Vesta Powder can also be burned in the home to honor Goddesses of the home and hearth (such as Vesta). When burning be sure you use a little bit at a time - it can cause a big bang! Idea: At the start of every winter, toss a little vesta powder into your fireplace when you light it the first time and ask the Spirits of the home to keep negative energies at bay and you and your family protected through the winter!
